Kreasi, Kolaborasi dan Intervensi: Kerja-kerja Ruang Publik di Kota
Dalam edisi Public Culture Series KUNCI kali ini, tema kerja ruang publik dipilih sebagai bingkai masuk ke dalam sebuah proyek kolaborasi yang berjudul SPACE/SCAPE: Reproduksi Alun-alun sebagai Ruang Sosial.
Sebagai gambaran umum, proyek yang diselenggarakan secara bersama oleh KUNCI Cultural Studies Center, Teater Garasi dan Arts Newtork Asia, merupakan sebuah eksplorasi atas isu ruang, khususnya mengangkat Alun-alun Yogyakarta berikut peristiwa sosial yang berlangsung di dalamnya, melalui pendekatan penelitian sosial yang dikolaborasikan dengan eksperimentasi artistik. Kerja kolaborasi yang dijadwalkan selama 6 bulan ini, dengan hasil presentasi proyek yang akan dilakukan di akhir, yaitu Oktober 2009 pada saat ini sedang memasuki tahap penelitian lapangan dan realisasi gagasan.
