Deddy’s “Apple” journey is not long yet though cannot be considered instant. His apple has explored many different places and countries. It has been initiated to have a variety of meanings and values by the audience. But he realizes that he never knows how long the journey is. He does not think yet to change the icon for his visual articulation. Apple for him still has mysterious charms that can generate hundreds of ideas and thoughts for his next works. Apple does not make Deddy dry or bored.

Nevertheless, these activities become the principal means of marking of the valuable and the worthy, and this sense differentiation is what establishes culture.” (Scanlan, John On Garbage ReaktionBooks, London, 2005 pg 13)
